The 14th Delhi Jewellery & Gem Fair (DJGF) 2026 is scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 26 to 28, 2026, marking the largest edition in the event’s history. Organized by Informa Markets in India, the exhibition will span five halls. It will host over 650 exhibitors representing more than 3,000 jewellery brands. The fair aims to serve as a strategic platform for manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and exporters to source new collections, network, and exchange industry insights ahead of the festive and wedding seasons.

Broad Product Range and Specialized Zones

DJGF 2026 will showcase a wide array of jewellery categories, including plain gold, studded pieces, silver, diamonds, platinum, gemstones, pearls, bridal wear, contemporary and fine jewellery, Polki and Jadau, antique items, lightweight designs, and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. In addition to finished products, the event will feature machinery and equipment, technology solutions, packaging materials, display systems, software tools, security systems, and allied services, positioning itself as an all-encompassing B2B sourcing destination.

A dedicated Silver Pavilion will make its debut, offering a focused selection of silver jewellery exhibitors. The organizers have also arranged the largest Machinery Hall to date, reflecting the growing role of advanced manufacturing technologies in the sector. An Artisan Zone will highlight traditional craftsmanship, including Thewa Art Jewellery and the silver filigree work of Karimnagar.

The first-ever Jewellery Retail Symposium will be introduced in partnership with The New Jeweller, bringing together industry experts to discuss retail trends, innovation, consumer behaviour, and marketing strategies. Awards ceremonies scheduled during the event include the 10th Retail Jewellery Guild Awards, Shakti Awards, Power of Young Awards, and Jewellery Manufacturers Icons, recognizing achievements across the industry.

Industry Challenges Shape Exhibition Focus

High gold prices and shifting consumer preferences are influencing inventory decisions among buyers, who are increasingly seeking lightweight, value-conscious, and commercially viable jewellery. These market conditions have shaped the thematic focus of DJGF 2026, which emphasizes design-led products that balance aesthetics with affordability.

Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, stated that India’s gems and jewellery market is projected to reach USD 130 billion by 2030. He noted that rising gold prices and evolving consumer demands are encouraging retailers to prioritize lightweight, value-conscious, and differentiated designs. Greater emphasis on hallmarking, transparency, and responsible sourcing is also reshaping industry practices, he added.

To address these concerns, the event has partnered with the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) as its Sustainability Partner, integrating discussions on ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility into the broader trade dialogue. The event is supported by several industry associations, including the All India Jewellers & Goldsmith Federation and the Delhi Jewellers Association, reinforcing its standing within the regional trade ecosystem.

Strong Buyer Programme and Industry Participation

DJGF 2026 has structured a strong buyer programme designed to facilitate meaningful B2B engagement across North India, aligning with the fair’s goal of driving sourcing and networking during the critical pre-festive period.

The fair anticipates the participation of over 30,000 jewellery trade professionals and will present more than 150,000 designs, reinforcing its position as North India’s leading B2B jewellery marketplace.
