Céline Dion made a dazzling return to the stage in Paris, wearing a showstopping necklace by Boucheron. The Canadian singer chose the The Address diamond necklace for her first live performance in six years, marking her comeback after battling Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). This highly anticipated event took place at the Plénitude Arena de Paris on Saturday, 12 September, as part of her ‘Céline Dion Paris 2026-2027’ concert series, symbolizing her resilience and triumph over adversity.

A Necklace Fit for a Comeback

The The Address necklace features a 10.01-carat emerald-cut diamond, inspired by an 1839 house archive design. It was unveiled in Paris in January 2026 as part of the ‘Nom: Boucheron Prénom: Frédéric’ collection. The necklace’s bold, architectural design references the Place Vendôme, with diamonds set like paving stones and a black enamel frame. This design not only pays homage to Boucheron’s historic headquarters but also reflects the jeweler’s role as the first major house to establish itself on the iconic square, blending history with modern craftsmanship.

The pendant is suspended from a ribbon of white gold, entirely set with baguette diamonds, adding fluidity and grace. Interestingly, the central diamond can be removed and worn as a ring, showcasing the necklace‘s versatility. This dual functionality highlights Boucheron’s commitment to innovation and adaptability in high jewelry design, allowing the wearer to transform the piece for different occasions.

Céline’s Boucheron Ensemble

Dion paired the The Address necklace with a shoulder-less Dior black gown, creating a stunning visual impact. The gown’s sleek silhouette complemented the necklace’s bold design, ensuring the jewelry remained the focal point while enhancing Dion’s stage presence. She also wore other Boucheron high jewelry pieces during her performance, including the Tattoo necklace from the summer 2026 Carte Blanche Human Being collection.

The Tattoo necklace is a dramatic piece, featuring a 1.74-carat D VVS1 triodia-cut diamond, 580 carats of smoky quartz, and pavé diamonds in white gold. It creates the illusion of Victorian-inspired body art, with the house’s signature motifs engraved on the reverse. The smoky quartz drops are decorated using glyptic engraving, a traditional technique that adds depth and artistry to the piece. This necklace not only showcases Dion’s artistic sensibilities but also shows Boucheron’s ability to merge historical inspiration with contemporary design.

In videos shot for the concert, Dion also wore the Boucheron Fuzzy Le Chat Leopard ring. Her choice of Boucheron jewels marks a new direction for the singer, who has previously worn creations by various jewellers. This shift highlights her evolving relationship with fashion and her desire to align with brands that embody both heritage and innovation.

A Match Made for the Stage

The Boucheron jewels, with their high-profile and outsize designs, are ideal for large-scale events. The The Address necklace, in particular, shines bright under high-voltage lights, making it a perfect choice for Dion’s much-anticipated return. Its visibility and grandeur ensured that it became a centerpiece of her performance, capturing the attention of both the live audience and viewers of the concert videos.
